World No. 9 Daniil Medvedev has confirmed his participation in the ATP 250 Almaty Open, which will take place in Almaty from October 17 to 25.
Medvedev is the reigning ATP 250 Almaty Open champion. In 2025, he defeated France's Corentin Moutet in the final to claim the title.
Medvedev has won 23 ATP singles titles during his career, including one Grand Slam title, one ATP Finals crown, six ATP Masters 1000 titles, and 15 ATP 500 and ATP 250 trophies.
The ATP 250 Almaty Open traditionally attracts a strong player field and draws the attention of tennis fans not only from Kazakhstan but also from abroad. The tournament is part of the official ATP calendar and is considered one of the major sporting events of the autumn season.
